Project Engineer Construction

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aids the Project Manager and project team in day-to-day General Contract and Subcontract administration.
• Maintains job site safety and accident prevention.
• Schedules construction activities.
• Procures and expedites materials and equipment.
• Coordinates mechanical, electrical, and piping systems.
• Reviews and approves shop drawings and submittals.
• Reviews and negotiates subcontractor change proposals.
• Documents change orders and associated costs.
• Researches and suggests improvements to construction methods and equipment.
• Maintains As-Built plans.
• Ensures quality control and project closure.
• Enforces safety and EEO/Affirmative Action programs.

Minimal Qualifications

• College Diploma in Construction Management, preferred.
• Construction internship or related construction work experience, required.
• 5+ years of general construction knowledge and practices, required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency in Blue Beam software.

Compensation

The annual salary for this role is $70,000.00 - $105,000.00, depending on relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Final compensation will also consider variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.

Physical Demands

Frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
