Rehab Specialist - Full Time - Weekdays

About the role

Provides rehabilitation services in a community-based setting, supporting individuals with brain, spinal cord, and complex injuries or illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident needs and design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Perform skill training, cognitive remediation, and behavior management.
• Reinforce appropriate behaviors through various techniques.
• Coordinate social, recreational, vocational, and therapeutic activities.
• Prepare clinical documentation, maintain client records, and report relevant data.
• Assist with scheduling, emergency coverage, and crisis intervention.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate attitude.

Qualifications
