About the role
The Recovery Specialist provides educational, clinical, and supportive peer services to Behavioral Health service recipients. The Recovery Specialist serves as a role model, educator, and advocate for the department and assists members in obtaining recovery goals. The position requires a good working knowledge of Peer Support/Self-Help resources as well as the Behavioral Health recovery process.

Requirements
- Master's degree (Required).
- Good working knowledge of Peer Support/Self-Help resources and Behavioral Health recovery process.

- Licenses/Certifications: Sedentary Work classification (exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally). Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.

Pay
Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
