Regulatory Compliance Coordinator
The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator at W. R. Berkley Corporation supports businesses with timely and efficient completion of compliance processes, data calls, and documentation of compliance activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Aid in the receipt and routing of consumer complaints and other regulatory inquiries, assisting in the development of responses and ensuring compliance.
- Support operating units with data calls involving Standard and Alternative Segment companies, including maintaining schedules, aggregating and validating data, and submitting information to regulatory entities.
- Maintain and disseminate reports and criticisms from bureau reporting websites and NCCI, and manage the receipt and payment of fines and assessment invoices.
- Monitor Bridger status reports for overdue alerts, investigate potential issues, and assist operating units with policyholder and claimant screening.
- Manage the RRE recertification process, confirming the active status of each RRE and submitting executed recertification forms to CMS.
- Handle service of process and similar mail for Standard and Alternative Segment companies, execute proxies, and perform other related paper management tasks.
Qualifications include:
- Knowledge of workers' compensation requirements, regulations, and reporting processes.
- Some insurance-related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Sound professional judgment, attention to detail, accuracy, organization, ability to work under time constraints, and self-motivation.
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication with internal and external business partners.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Education requirement includes a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
