Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is responsible for assuring survey readiness at Mission Hospital. Responsibilities include working with staff at all levels in the organization and continuously evaluating and improving processes to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance as defined by the Joint Commission and CMS standards.

The Regulatory Coordinator will learn and perform additional duties within the Quality Management department that may assist with critical needs, staff shortages or holiday coverage. The position participates in providing patient specific care standards as directed, and follows service excellence standards to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.

Essential Accountabilities

  • Cook up, direct, and support regulatory survey activities.
  • Develop and implement a continuous regulatory compliance program.
  • Ensure compliance with the applicable evidence-based standards.
  • Quality Improvement methodologies to facilitate improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Required Education: Associate Degree or higher level education.
  • Prior job experience demonstrating leadership, management, and successful communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Required License: Graduate of nursing school with Nursing License.
  • Minimum of three years relevant clinical experience.
