Regulatory Compliance Coordinator
The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator at W. R. Berkley Corporation supports the Standard and Alternative Market Segment Compliance Teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Aid in handling consumer complaints and regulatory inquiries.
- Support operating units with research and development of responses, ensuring timely submission and compliance.
- Monitor due dates for data calls and ensure all necessary corrective actions are completed.
- Manage the RRE recertification process, including confirming the active status of each RRE and validating contact information.
- Handle data calls involving Standard and Alternative Segment companies, including maintaining schedules, issuing requests, aggregating and validating data, and submitting information to regulatory entities.
- Monitor bureau reporting websites and NCCI for edit/error reports and criticisms, disseminating them to relevant operating units and managing receipt and payment of fines and assessment invoices.
- Assist with monitoring monthly Bridger status reports, investigating potential system issues or operating unit deficiencies, and assisting with policyholder and claimant screening.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Segment Compliance Team and the businesses it serves.
Qualifications include:
- Knowledge of workers' compensation requirements, regulations, and reporting processes.
- Some insurance-related experience preferred.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
- Solid analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under time constraints.
Education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent, with some college-level coursework in insurance preferred.
