Description
Maintain, process, sort, scan, and file documents according to office procedures.
Enter time sensitive information, prepare certified documents upon request, receive, and track the submission of paperwork from the field, receive, analyze, and distribute tips from the public to the appropriate field office for action to be taken.
Qualifications
- Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
- Experience: One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience performing routine office work with public contact work.
Special Requirements
A successful background check.

Pay Grade: 5 (27,240 – 45,973)
Benefits
Life Insurance: PEIA offers $10,000 life insurance policies for all fulltime employees. Optional Life Insurance of varying amounts that include $5,000 to $500,000 worth of coverage, subject to an insurability screening. Dependent Life coverage is also available.
Retirement Plan: As WV public employees, all full-time public employees are required to participate with the Public Employees Retirement Plan, regulated by the Consolidated Public Retirement Board. Employees hired on or after July 1, 2015 will be members of the PERS II plan, contributing 6% of their gross monthly salary. Longevity Salary Increase: All full-time employees for the WV State Police receive a yearly $500 longevity salary increase.
Vacation and Sick Days: All full-time employees earn 15-24 paid vacation days per year depending on longevity. All full-time employees earn 1.5 sick days per month. The state offers 12 paid holidays a year (for full-time employees).
