Registered Respiratory Therapist - Weekend Nights

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and delivering respiratory care in complex patient situations, primarily in critical care areas.
• Managing ventilators, performing airway management, and interpreting waveforms.
• Conducting patient assessments, collaborating with healthcare teams, and verifying orders for therapies.
• Providing patient, family, and staff education, mentoring new employees, and supporting professional development.
• Ensuring a safe, high-quality environment by promoting accurate documentation, patient safety, and evidence-based practices.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting invasive and diagnostic procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT or RCP, all required upon hire.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
