About the role

Respiratory Therapist II responsible for administering respiratory care, medication delivery, and managing complex patient cases in critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Perform ventilator management and airway care
• Conduct arterial blood gas analysis
• Assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Educate patients and mentor staff
• Ensure safe and quality care while promoting evidence-based practices
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Deliver patient-centered respiratory care and ensure safety
• Document care thoroughly and support team efforts
• Contribute to staff development and comply with policies
• Promote a positive work environment

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• NBRC-RRT certification
• Required licenses: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• 0–2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care
