Registered Nurse - Wound Care, Full-Time, Day

About the role

Seeking a Wound Care Nurse to provide specialized care for patients with chronic wounds and advanced wound treatments. The role involves assessing and reassessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective, cost-efficient treatment. The nurse educates patients and caregivers on evidence-based wound care practices and promotes community health awareness.

Responsibilities

• Accurate documentation in EMR
• Maintaining a safe environment
• Potentially performing hyperbaric oxygen therapy after specialized training

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• At least two years of nursing experience, especially in skin and wound care
• Current RN license
• Certification in Wound and Ostomy preferred
