Registered Nurse Wound Care Full Time Days

Job Description

In-patient Wound Care Full Time, 0.9 FTE, Four 9-hour shifts. Monday-Fridays may have weekend coverage in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collections and analyzes data
• Identifies expected outcomes
• Develops and implements an individualized plan
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and ancillary staff
• Evaluates and documents the patient’s responses to nursing interventions
• Utilizes the best available evidence to guide practice decisions

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred: Experience in Wound Care, with certification in Wound Care
• Additional Preferences: Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS), Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, Certified Emergency Nurse
