About the role

As the Unit Manager, you are a registered nurse responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation. You will ensure consistent and quality care for all residents, assess needs, and implement care using the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, including direction, assignments, training, recognition, and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a resource for clinical issues.
• Ensure completion of requested reports (e.g., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and well-being through encouragement and support.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Michigan and CPR-BLS certification.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare care plans, implement nursing care, and solve complex problems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.

Pay

Starting salary of $86,000 per year (up to $90,000) with yearly salary increases.
