About the role

As the Unit Manager, you are a registered nurse responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation. You will assess resident needs, implement care plans, and leverage the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent, high-quality care for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, including direction, assignments, training, recognition, and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of reports such as infection control, pharmacy compliance, and quality management.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and well-being through encouragement and support.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Michigan and CPR-BLS certification.
• High level of analytical abilities to develop personalized care plans and implement effective nursing and rehabilitation care.
• Strong problem-solving skills for resident well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care (EPIC).
• Team-oriented mindset, dedicated to supporting colleagues and achieving goals.

Pay

Starting salary of $86,000 per year, with potential to earn up to $90,000. Yearly salary increases included.
