Registered Nurse RN Unit Manager - $90,000

About the role

The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24‑hour operation and ensuring consistent, quality care for all residents. You will be empowered to assess needs and implement care as you deem necessary, utilizing the latest technology and working as part of a strong interdisciplinary team. This position works Monday–Friday and rotates on‑call duties with several other leaders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and serve as a resource for clinical issues.
• Ensure completion of required reports (e.g., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment through kind words and encouragement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of long‑term care and leadership experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
• Current CPR‑BLS certification.
• High level of analytical ability to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to complex well‑being problems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
• Team‑player mindset, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.

Pay

Salary up to $90,000 per year. On‑call responsibilities are included as part of a rotation.

Schedule

Monday through Friday with rotating on‑call coverage shared among leadership.
