About the role

The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse who coordinates the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensures consistent, high-quality care for all residents. You will assess needs, implement care, and leverage the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, including direction, assignments, training, recognition, and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of reports such as infection control, pharmacy compliance, and quality management.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment through encouragement and support.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Michigan RN license and CPR-BLS certification.
• High level of analytical ability to develop personalized care plans and solve complex problems.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, and innovative care.
