About the role

The Unit Manager at Cascade Senior Care Center is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating clinical care on an assigned unit within a 24-hour operation. The role involves assessing resident needs, implementing care, and working with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team and provide direction and assignments
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a resource for clinical issues
• Ensure the completion of required reports such as infection control and quality management
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, their families, and visitors

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Michigan
• CPR-BLS certification
• High level of analytical abilities for preparing personalized care plans and developing solutions to complex problems
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing exceptional care
• Team player with dedication to supporting team members and achieving goals

Pay

$90,000 per year with yearly wage increases

Schedule

All shifts include rotating weekends and holidays, as well as a rotating on-call schedule.
