Registered Nurse - Travel - Progressive Care Unit

About the Role

Provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general units, with a focus on cardiac health.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administer medications, treatments, and assist in cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and education on cardiac risk factors and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Document patient assessments, responses, and interventions, and respond to cardiac emergencies following protocols.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Assess and manage complex patient needs in a telemetry setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license and PCCN certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Physical ability to assist with patient care and equipment.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
