Responsibilities
- Assess and manage complex patient needs
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
- Administer medications
- Assist with cardiac procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient conditions
- Develop educational plans focused on cardiac health
- Respond to emergencies
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Skills
- One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
- Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification
- Ability to interpret cardiac and telemetry data
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Physical capability to assist with equipment and patient movement
- Visual acuity and mental resilience to handle high-stakes situations
