Registered Nurse Team Lead - ICU

The RN Team Leader is responsible for providing clinical leadership on the unit by coordinating patient care, supervising staff, and fostering professional development through teaching, precepting, and quality improvement initiatives. They delegate patient care based on skill, experience, and resources, ensuring effective patient/family education and smooth transitions of care. The role involves working within the Mayo Nursing Care Model and adhering to ANA standards, supporting evidence-based practice, and participating in research. The ideal candidate holds a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, with preferred one year of RN experience, and current RN licensure. Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking skills, and computer proficiency are essential. Flexibility in working hours, BLS certification, and specialty training as needed are required.
