Registered Nurse Surgery

About the Role

You will evaluate patients preoperatively, provide education, and ensure patient safety during surgical procedures. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams—including providers, surgeons, and technologists—to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients with IV therapy and medications
• Conduct surgical site verification
• Respond to emergencies
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Requirements

• RN license, diploma, and BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Prior OR experience preferred; circulating and scrubbing experience advantageous
• Alternatively, 2+ years of acute care nursing if new to the OR

Schedule
