Registered Nurse - Stepdown (Days)

Role: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Adheres to organizational mission, values, and standards. Responsibilities: Manage a stepdown unit with 18 beds, caring for higher acuity cardiac and respiratory patients. Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1, and evaluate care provided by team members. Qualifications Graduated from a nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the applicable state or compact licensure.American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or complete within probation.ACLS and BLS certifications or obtain within 90 days of hire.
