About the Role
Provides direct nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care following established policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes nursing standards to evaluate and improve care.
- Advocates for patients and families.
- Develops and implements individualized care plans.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team.
- Educates patients on health measures.
- Fosters a positive work environment.
- Applies evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs.
- Performs assessments and coordinates care.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- May conduct point-of-care testing.
- Develops patient care strategies considering physical, cultural, social, and emotional factors.
- Maintains safety and professionalism.
- Performs other assigned tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current state-specific RN license and BLS certification.
- No prior experience required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform various movements.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
