Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery Transition Program - Nights

Position: Special Care Nursery Registered Nurse Transition Program Location: Elmhurst, IL Role Overview: Provides professional nursing care in a Level 2E nursery, assisting experienced nurses in transitioning into neonatal care through a 16-week precepted training program with dedicated education. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, employ critical thinking, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, document observations, delegate tasks, and collaborate as part of the healthcare team. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s required within five years if only an Associate Degree), current Illinois RN licensure, BLS through AHA, Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within six months, and at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience.
