Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery - Nights

Role Overview: Provides professional nursing care in a Level 2E Special Care Nursery, ensuring patient safety and well-being. Utilizes critical thinking to assess, plan, and evaluate care, monitors patient progress, and documents observations. Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates with team members to meet unit goals. Key Responsibilities Deliver nursing care according to state regulations and hospital policies.Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond effectively.Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree.Current Illinois RN licensure and BLS certification.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of employment.Preferably, two years of NICU RN Level 3 experience.
