Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery - Nights

Role Overview: Provides professional nursing care in a Level 2E Special Care Nursery, assessing patient conditions, recognizing changes, planning and evaluating care, and documenting observations. Collaborates with team members to meet unit goals and delegates appropriate tasks. Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, current Illinois RN licensure, BLS certification, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months. Preferably, candidates have two years of NICU RN Level 3 experience. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor neonatal patients, recognizing changes in condition.Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to policies and standards.Delegate care tasks appropriately to staff members.Utilize critical thinking and documentation skills to ensure quality care.
