Responsibilities
- Conduct forensic exams and obtain evidence with proper chain of custody
- Facilitate treatment of injuries
- Coordinate with law enforcement
- Deliver crisis intervention with confidentiality and privacy
- Participate in staff and community education
- Provide legal testimony when required
- Pursue ongoing professional development
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of IAFN-accredited SANE A course with Illinois clinical component
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- Preferred: Baccalaureate degree, emergency or women’s health experience, ≥1-year SANE RN experience
