Registered Nurse SANE Adult - Per Diem

Role: RN SANE Adult Responsibilities Provide high-quality, cost-effective care to sexual assault patients.Conduct physical and forensic exams, including evidence collection per Illinois guidelines.Obtain evidence with proper consents and maintain chain of custody.Document assessments, evidence, interventions, and provide patient education on procedures, STD and pregnancy prevention, and follow-up care.Coordinate with law enforcement, advocacy groups, and other healthcare providers, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality.Participate in community and professional education and provide legal testimony as needed.Pursue ongoing professional development within the SANE program. Qualifications & Skills Completion of IAFN-accredited SANE A course with Illinois clinical component.Preferred: Baccalaureate or higher in Nursing, emergency medicine or women’s health experience, and minimum one year as a SANE RN.Current Illinois RN licensure; ability to practice in Illinois.
