Registered Nurse Same Day Surgery
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. This role involves utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Absorb and evaluate patient information from various sources, including family, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Direct the care team, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure effective communication among team members.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on patient responses and outcomes.
- Evaluate patient satisfaction and make improvements to care delivery as needed.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform manual dexterity tasks, such as operating complex equipment and typing.
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

$35.22 - $53.29 per hour
