Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator - Critical Care IMCU (Stepdown)

About the role

Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participates in safety and quality initiatives.
• Contributes to the development of staff.
• Increases staff satisfaction and promotes excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (Required) or MSN (Preferred).
• Registered nursing License (Required).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• 18 months of relevant RN experience.
