Registered Nurse – Critical Care / Step-Down Unit

About the role

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join a high-acuity Critical Care (ICU) / Step-Down Units within a healthcare system. This role involves providing care for complex patients such as cardiothoracic, post-surgical, and telemetry cases, using ICU-level skills in a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring high-acuity patients with drips, chest tubes, and central lines
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting
• Managing admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Delivering patient-centered care focused on safety and outcomes

Qualifications and Skills

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred
• RN license (WI or compact eligible) and Trauma nursing core course
• BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred depending on department
• Open to new grads and experienced nurses with 3+ years in similar settings
• Comfortable in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
