When a child’s life depends on minutes, precision, and teamwork, our Flight & Transport Nurses answer the call. As part of Cincinnati Children’s Pediatric Air & Ground Transport Team, you’ll deliver ICU-level care in unpredictable environments, partnering with pilots, paramedics, physicians, and families to safely move critically ill children to the care they need.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ICU-level care in high-pressure, unpredictable environments during air and ground transport
  • Collaborate with pilots, paramedics, physicians, and families to ensure safe transport of critically ill children
  • Rotate between ground and air transport, building diverse skills in a team-based setting

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with 3+ years of pediatric ICU experience
  • BSN from an ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA accredited institution (required for new hires; current employees may enroll in a BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire if not already obtained)
  • Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from accredited institutions require 2+ years of experience
  • Active Ohio RN License (may require additional state licensure)
  • Night shift availability between 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Pay

  • Base pay + $5/hr critical care pay
  • $4/hr night shift differential pay
  • $4/hr weekend differential pay
