About the Role
Provides patient-centered care in a collaborative environment within a hospital setting, under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes evidence-based practices and the nursing process to develop individualized care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
- Ensures compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Current CT RN licensure.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Certification in BLS (required upon hire).
- ACLS required for specific units; NNR for OB.
- Preferred experience includes acute care, IV skills, and secondary language proficiency.
- Knowledge of nursing process and customer service principles essential.
Additional Information
- Work requires on-call availability with a response within 30 minutes.
