About the role

The Department 35813 Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center - Med Surg: IU 3EF Surgical Status Full time Benefits Eligible position is located in Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with Gastroenterology, Urology, Gynecology, and Plastic Surgery populations, abdominal drains, wound VACS’s, PCA’s, epidurals, tube feedings etc.
• Manage the care of 4-5 patients on day and PM shift and 5-6 patients on the night.
• Manage patients on the following drips: insulin, ketamine, dobutamine, heparin, angiomax, etc.
• Part of a fast-paced post op surgical unit.
• Part of a shared governance culture with strong team member engagement scores.
• Part of a top-performing inpatient unit with high rates of certified nurses.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Lifelong commitment to excellent clinical practice and patient outcomes
• Experience in managing patients on various drips
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Pay

$38.20 - $57.30 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

NOC 1900-0730, 72 Hours per pay period, 3-12 hours shifts per week.
