Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor at Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to our patients. As a seasoned RN with a passion for nursing leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including assigning duties, providing guidance, and evaluating performance
• Provide direct patient care as needed, utilizing sound clinical judgment and expertise
• Develop and implement care plans, in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, to meet individual patient needs
• Carry out routine rounds to assess patient condition, identify concerns, and make necessary adjustments to care
• Cookordinate and participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Foster open communication and build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in staff education and training programs, staying current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania
• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or nursing leadership
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills in geriatric and long-term care nursing
• Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
• A strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document patient information and maintain confidentiality
