About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with a focus on Med Surg, providing direct patient care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to care planning, implementation, and evaluation based on data collection
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions
- Collaborate across disciplines for coordinated care, including transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support
- Educate patients and families tailored to individual needs
- Delegate tasks to ancillary staff
- Precept students and new hires
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure in Maine or ability to obtain
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- At least one year of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and high-quality care
Schedule
Full-time, night shift (12 hours).
Pay
