Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - Per Hour

Role Overview: A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg is responsible for coordinating patient transfers through the Transfer Center, ensuring seamless communication between referring and receiving facilities. Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to transfer referrals, coordinate with receiving nurses to prepare patients, facilitate physician-to-physician communication, assist with transport logistics, and oversee patient admission processes. Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and at least 4 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's Degree, experience in ER/Trauma or Cardiovascular units, and certifications like ACLS or CCRN. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse healthcare professionals and patients. Additional Duties: Assist with educational programs for nursing staff and support quality service delivery to physicians, patients, and medical teams.
