About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry on a 26-bed unit, providing direct patient care with a focus on cardiac and medical patients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families
• Delegate tasks to ancillary staff
• Precept students and new hires
• Provide safe, compassionate care
• Coordinate transfers and discharges
• Support patient education
• Participate in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain
• Preferred minimum of 1 year experience, but new graduates are welcome
