Schedule: Full Time - Nights | 3-12 hour shifts | 7p-7:30a | Rotating holidays and weekends

Hourly Rate: $35.35 to $53.58 an hour

Responsibilities

• Treating patients, educating patients about mental and medical conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and/or family members
• Running therapeutic groups, psychiatric crisis intervention, seclusion and restraint of patients
• Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms
• Helping to perform diagnostic tests and analyze results
• Operating medical machinery
• Administering treatment and medications
• Helping with patient follow-up and rehabilitation
• Teaching patients and their families how to manage their illness or injury, diet and exercise programs, and self-administration of medication and physical therapy
• Other related duties

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training:

• Must have current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards
• Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units
• Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
