About the role
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with behavioral health and psychiatric conditions as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor patient conditions and document in the EMR
- Respond to psychiatric crises using de-escalation techniques
- Facilitate therapeutic groups
- Educate patients and families
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Implement seclusion and restraint procedures when necessary
- Promote patient safety and support recovery and positive outcomes
Requirements
- Current valid State RN license
- BLS certification
- Knowledge of mental health laws, interdisciplinary treatment processes, and behavioral health care standards
Qualifications
