Schedule

• Full Time
• Nights
• 3-12 hour shifts
• 7p-7:30a
• Rotating holidays and weekends

Pay

Hourly Rate: $35.35 to $53.58 an hour

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 available for qualified candidates. Eligibility and payout terms apply. Details discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients and educate them about mental and medical conditions
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and/or family members
• Run therapeutic groups and perform psychiatric crisis intervention
• Perform seclusion and restraint of patients when necessary
• Record patients’ medical histories and symptoms
• Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results
• Operate medical machinery and administer treatment and medications
• Assist with patient follow-up and rehabilitation
• Teach patients and their families to manage illness or injury, diet and exercise programs, and self-administration of medication and physical therapy

Qualifications

• Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards
• Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units
• Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care
