Registered Nurse - Med/Psych Unit

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care to behavioral health patients within a medical psychiatry setting. Responsibilities include conducting initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, participating in treatment team conferences, and leading or co-leading group therapy sessions. The role requires evaluating patient responses to interventions and collaborating with the team to adjust care strategies as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates must hold a valid RN license from the Indiana Board of Nursing and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred candidates have prior RN experience, especially in psychiatric care. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
