Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care (PCU)
Job Type: Full-time | Variable 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation
About the role
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with facilities coast to coast. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Progressive Care (PCU)-Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) Unit, you will provide comprehensive, direct care to patients and their families in a 42-bed department. This unit specializes in the management of acute cardiac patients, including those requiring invasive line management and care following carotid and femoral procedures. Nurses practice to the full scope of their license and collaborate with a patient-focused care team to implement individualized care plans and drive positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Perform timely and accurate QI assessments
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS Certification
- One-year acute cardiovascular care experience or other comparable nursing experience
- ASLS certification preferred

Pay
Up to $20,000 bonus for eligible candidates

- 12-hour shifts (day: 7AM, night: 7PM)
- Variable shifts with weekend and holiday rotation
