The RN Clinical Periop Nurse is a proactive team member providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical setting. They perform the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practices, and tailor care to individual patient needs while promoting cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, coordinate care, ensure accurate documentation, and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified workforce, promote evidence-based practice, and participate in research activities.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management, always adhering to organizational policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's nursing degree
• Valid licensure
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RN licensure
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience
