Registered Nurse (RN) - Perioperative - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Performing the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
• Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations.
• Partnering with patients and families through effective communication and education.
• Ensuring documentation, coordinating care, and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Participating in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities.
• Serving as a preceptor or mentor to support workforce development.
• Adhering to policies, clinical standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
• Contributing to protocol development, resource management, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and valid certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills.
