Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time - Day Shift

About the role

This position involves comprehensive resident care, including assessing health status, developing and updating individualized care plans, and communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate assessments
• Document all findings
• Implement and monitor care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Respond promptly to changes in residents' conditions using critical thinking skills
• Maintain professionalism during crises
• Ensure effective delivery of care by monitoring and addressing problem areas through quality improvement processes
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Respond to call lights promptly

Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
• Preferably experienced in long-term care
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move residents and equipment safely is essential
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity
