Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time - Day Shift
About the role
Provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing residents' health, educational, and environmental needs, and developing individualized care plans through an interdisciplinary approach. Communicates significant changes in condition to the appropriate team members, documents assessments, and updates care plans accordingly. Executes nursing interventions such as medication administration, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately, while maintaining detailed documentation. Uses critical thinking to manage residents' changing conditions, promptly notifies physicians, and handles crises professionally. Monitors care delivery effectiveness, identifies issues via QAPI processes, and supports resident well-being through assistance with daily activities and answering call lights. Remains current on nursing practices, adhering to policies and ongoing education.
Qualifications
- Registered nurse with accreditation and a valid state license
- CPR/AED certification (or willing to obtain within six months)
- Preferred experience in long-term care

- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and transfer patients safely
- Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and proficiency in electronic and written documentation
