Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

About the role

Join the new PACU team in a 10-bay unit providing 24/7 post-operative care for diverse surgical and interventional procedures. The RN will recover patients from anesthesia, IV, and conscious sedation, requiring acute and ICU-level care.

Responsibilities

• Recover patients from anesthesia, IV, and conscious sedation
• Collaborate across disciplines to establish workflows
• Ensure quality patient care through teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and flexibility

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in PACU and/or ICU preferred
• Training available for step-down and Emergency Department RNs
