Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

About the role

Provide 24/7 post-operative care in a newly established 10-bay PACU unit, supporting patients recovering from various surgical and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Recover patients from general and regional anesthesia, IV, and conscious sedation requiring acute and ICU-level care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and optimize workflows.
• Demonstrate teamwork, autonomy, communication, critical thinking, flexibility, and innovation to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PACU and/or ICU experience preferred; training provided for step-down and Emergency Department nurses.
