About Texoma Medical Center

Texoma Medical Center is a 414‑bed acute‑care facility in Denison, Texas, serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. The main campus is located about one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with additional facilities throughout the Texoma region. TMC offers major specialty services such as open‑heart surgery, neurosurgery, and certified trauma care, positioning it as a regional specialty center.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Deliver patient‑centered care as the foundation for all nursing activities.
• Uphold Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Follow the Standards of Practice set by professional nursing associations to ensure competent, safe, and professional practice.

Qualifications

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• At least one year of full‑time experience in an acute‑care setting.
• RQI BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Completion of BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) courses prior to working in a clinical setting (provided during new‑hire orientation if needed).
• Successful completion of any pre‑employment assessments required by the facility.
• Ability to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served.
