Registered Nurse - Ortho Trauma Medical Surgical Unit

Trinity Health Grand Rapids 7 Main is a 47-bed unit that primarily serves a general medical/surgical population, specializing in orthopedic and trauma care. The unit anticipates seeing a wide variety of diagnoses, including elective joints and trauma, as the Hospital expands its successful Orthopedic Surgery program. It is a Magnet designated facility with active shared decision-making councils.

Position Summary
A Registered Nurse - RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced-based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse - RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.
What Registered Nurse, RN Will Need
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program (BSN preferred)
- BSN within 6 months of hire if ADN
- Completion of BSN program within 4 years of hire
- Licensed in the State of Michigan
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Specialty credentials preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty
- Experience as an RN required (new grads must apply through the Residency)

Full-time, Night Shift
3 - 12 hour shifts per week
